If you own an online business, you need Yahoo! Small Business. I recently launched a shopping website and I could not have done it without them. They make it so easy by giving you absolutely everything you need to get started and, best of all, they stay with you even after you're up and running. That's a really comforting thought.

I manage many sites mostly on Unix servers. I was told that Yahoo is on Unix as well but get no explaination for the myriad of difficulties I have. Not being able to create a directory with Dreamweaver to start. Tech guy said don't know why and saw no reason to continue beyond that explaination. You will have to do it some other way. Cannot turn of site indexing for directories not available period. Unable to use various php mail scripts to mask email address from spammers. Tech response was vacant at best and gave no inclination or desire ot fix problems or address issues. This is fast food of hosting and not very good at that. I would strongy suggest you look elsewhere for hosting. There are many good cheap servers that will just give you more for your money.

It's nice to know that as I add employees and services, Yahoo! Small Business is scalable. Yahoo! Small Business allowed me to have a web presence and professional looking e-mail for a very affordable monthly rate.

I chose Yahoo! because it was affordable and the best way to market my web site. I used FrontPage and it was compatible with Yahoo!, [The site] was easy to set up, inexpensive, and really good. It got me a lot of exposure.
