My cable modem ISP was down for a week, and NetZero saved my butt. I invest on-line, I bank on-line, my wife does some work from home in the evenings and on weekends, etc. What the heck was I going to do without Internet service? A friend offered me the use of her connection to download NetZero. I downloaded it, installed it, and was back on-line in a few minutes, although at a dial-up rate, not a cable modem rate. During 8 days of outage, I never got a single busy signal and I never had a dropped connection. The truth is, I am completely jaded by the cable modem, and suffering along at dial-up speeds really hurt, but NetZero Platinum is a great choice for dial-up service. I'd definitely switch if I were still using AOL.

I think Netzero is one of the best internet providers available. You have access to most everything and it`s very reasonably priced.

Before I switched to a local DSL ISP, I was with Netzero for about 2 years. Because Netzero is so well priced, you can save alot of money over local ISP'S.
